R. Kelley Thueson, MS, MD

R. Kelley Thueson, MS, MD was born and raised in southern Idaho. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Zoology and then worked for Gull Laboratories. After obtaining a Master of Science for his work on Toxoplasma gondii diagnostics, he attended medical school at the University of Mississippi. While in medical school he started supplying the immunodiagnostic industry with high quality antigens and soon recognized the importance and potential of this work. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine he worked full time as a clinician while increasing his efforts in the laboratory. In 1991 Dr. Thueson incorporated Ross Southern Laboratories.

Gary Bradshaw, MS, Ph.D.

Gary Bradshaw, MS, Ph.D. was raised in a farming community in southern Idaho. He obtained his BS and MS degrees in Microbiology at Brigham Young University and in 1982 received a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Nebraska. He then trained as a post-doctoral fellow and research associate under Dr. R. Walter Schlesinger at Rutgers Medical School in the department of Microbiology. Their research centered on the neuropathogenicity of influenza. He later joined the faculty of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Piscataway (formerly Rutgers Medical School) in the department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics where he continued his work on influenza along with AIDS and interferon. In 1993 he joined Ross Southern Laboratories where his main focus has been new product development.

T.J. Uriona, Ph.D.

T.J. Uriona, Ph.D. is a member of the product development research team. He joined Ross Southern Laboratories in 2008. Dr. Uriona was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He obtained his BS degree from the University of Utah in Biology. He continued his studies at the University of Utah and received a Ph.D. in Comparative Physiology. During his time in graduate school he received a grant from the German government to study at the University of Bonn and published five articles related to his graduate work. He began working at Ross Southern Laboratories on a part-time basis while obtaining his BS and joined the company full time after finishing his Ph.D. The focus of his work at Ross Southern Laboratories is toxoplasma, herpes simplex and veterinary products, as well as the development of monoclonal antibodies.
